**The Hilton Garden Inn, Tampa East/Brandon, will be the official headquarters of the 2009 State 4-H Horse Show.

To make reservations online, go to the Hilton's 4-H Horse Show site. This website is for the exclusive use by State Horse Show participants. You can also call the hotel directly at 813-626-6700 and be sure to identify yourself as a State 4-H Horse Show participant in order to receive these special rates.

Cut off date for the block is June 12. Reservations after this date will be accepted only on space availability so it is recommended that you make reservations early.

The hotel accepts pets for equestrian events with a one time $75.00 nonrefundable fee (to clean the room after departure) for the first five days. There is an additional $10.00 per day fee after five days.

The Hilton Garden Inn, Tampa North has rooms with double beds set aside at the same rate as the Tampa East/Brandon location. They are north of the Fairgrounds off of Fletcher Avenue, but still quite convenient on I-75. Call 813-342-5000 to reserve a room by June 12. Just like the original location, ask for rooms for the State 4-H Horse Show. However, this property does not accept pets at all.

If you would rather stay elsewhere, there are several other motels in the vicinity of the Florida State Fairgrounds. However, UF does not have any blocks or quoted rates from any properties other than the Hilton Garden Inns.
