The Southern Equine Consortium Newsletter is a newly created, educational resource for Southeastern region equine owners and equine industry participants. Each issue features timely, research-based information related to the care, management, and enjoyment of horses and other equids. The development of the newsletter represents a collaborative effort between multiple Southeastern equine extension programs to extend knowledge to our readers.

2016 Performance Horse Sale
UF-Sale In The Swamp is a capstone project that brings together the years of hard work for many of our students, donors, and staff and exemplifying our programs commitment to education and production. Many of our senior level students have had the opportunity to follow these young horses through the various courses offered as part of the Equine Sciences Program at the University of Florida.

2015 Equine Sciences Program Performance Horse Sale. This year we are introducing a new sale format with a Live Demonstration and Auction on April 25th. Bids may be placed in person, by telephone, or by absentee bidding. ALL telephone lists and absentee bidding forms will close at 12:00 PM, April 24th. Prospective buyers are invited to stop by the UF/ IFAS Horse Teaching Unit to preview horses between 3:00 – 4:15 PM, Monday, Wednesday, or Friday beginning March 11th. On April 25th, live demonstrations and bidder registration will begin at 10:00 AM. The auction will start at 1:00 PM.
