Facilities: Santa Fe River Ranch Beef Unit (Boston Farm)
This beef research unit is located northwest of Gainesville and supports 300 head of Angus-Brangus cows, used for teaching and research. The unit contains approximately 1,600 acres and is adjacent to the Santa Fe River, which facilitates research concerning environmentally sensitive areas.
