Animal Sciences Graduate Student Association (ASGSA)

The Animal Sciences Graduate Student Association (ASGSA) is very active in promoting career development, academic success, and social interaction between graduate students and faculty. Each year ASGSA sponsors a number of events including the Distinguished Lecturer Series which brings an outstanding member of the field to UF for seminars, and personal meetings with lab groups and students; social events such as the ASGSA Hog Roast and Stick Horse Rodeo, and fundraiser's that support student travel grants and other activities of the organization.
