Youth Programs Share
Welcome to the home for youth programs at the University of Florida's Department of Animal Sciences! On these pages, you can find details about upcoming events, results of past events, and plenty of helpful resources.
Use the new left menu for easy navigation throughout the site!
These materials are sent to county 4-H agents, but are also available online to make program details quickly assessible to leaders, volunteers, and youth as well as Extension agents and teachers. If you have any questions about entries or county participation requirements, contact your local 4-H Agent.
This site covers primarily the Horse and Livestock program areas of Animal Sciences. In addition, Poultry Judging explains the event's phases using examples and provides the opportunity to practice what you've learned. For information about dairy youth programs, visit the Dairy Extension: Youth Dairy Judging page.
Aside from our primary role of 4-H programming, we also assist with events for FFA and JFCA (Junior Florida Cattleman's Association).
