Experiential learning lies at the heart of our program. We offer students hands-on opportunities to apply their knowledge in real-world settings.  Through industry partnerships, the program offers internships, field experiences, and practical coursework meant to equip our students with the skills, expertise, and confidence necessary to excel in the diverse and evolving equine industry.

Extension is a fundamental pillar of our program. We actively engage with equine professionals, horse owners, and stakeholders in the community to disseminate knowledge, provide practical solutions, and support the growth and sustainability of the equine industry. We aim to bridge the gap between academia and industry, ensuring that our research and teaching have a meaningful impact on the equine community.
