Dr. Samantha Brooks became interested in equine research and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Biotechnology. She remained at the University of Kentucky to study at the Gluck Equine Research Center. While there she earned her Ph.D. in Veterinary Science, specializing in Equine Genetics.
Justin Callaham teaches the ANS 3319C Reproductive Physiology & Endocrinology Lab, and the ANS 4231 Equine Practicums: Horse Grooming and Care, Foaling, Breeding Management, and Weanling Management.
Dr. Warren directs the equine nutrition program at UF. Her research evaluates the effects of nutrition on immune function, athletic performance, and reproduction in horses. She also works on identifying management and nutrition solutions that will minimize the environmental impact of manure on water quality.
Angela oversees both the Horse Teaching Unit in Gainesville and the Equine Science Center in Ocala. Additionally, she teaches ANS 4931 Horse Grooming Practicum and ANS 4231 Weanling Management Practicum.

Wendy facilitates all equine youth programs across the state including, horsemanship school, 4-H horse judging, horse shows, hippology, and quiz bowl. Additionally, Wendy teaches ANS 3239L Techniques in Equine Science.
