2022 Animal Sciences Alumni Tailgate & Watch Party
All proceeds will directly benefit the judging teams.
The Department of Animal Sciences is happy to announce the Animal Sciences Alumni Tailgate will be held on October 15th at the UF/IFAS Beef Teaching Unit South beginning at 3 pm. The goal of this event is to raise funds for our student judging team's travel and expenses.
Students on the UF ANS Judging Teams work tirelessly to learn all they can about their chosen field of study. Students on these teams come from diverse backgrounds and often begin their judging careers with little to no experience. They end the program with a vast knowledge that sets them apart from their peers and ultimately helps them gain valuable industry jobs. Our judging teams travel across the country to test their knowledge and skills related to their field. This travel can be expensive, but the cost is worth what the students gain from each experience.
This year our goal is to raise money for our meats judging, livestock judging, and horse judging teams. All funds will be donated directly to the teams. If you donate between now and the day of the event you will receive a small token of our appreciation.
The tailgate will begin at 3 pm and kickoff for Florida Vs. LSU will be at 7 pm!
