UF Beef Cattle Short Course

Riding the High Tide-Decision Making in a Record Cattle Market

74th University of Florida Beef Cattle Short Course, May 7-9, 2025

The 74th University of Florida Beef Cattle Short Course is scheduled for May 7-9 in Gainesville, Florida.  Kicking off this year’s short course will be Randy Blach with CattleFax providing an update on the record-high cattle market.  A slate of nationally renowned speakers is scheduled to provide information on genetics, animal health, marketing, management, and bull selection.  Additionally, Friday morning highlights the careers of two of the Gulf Coast’s most successful forage researchers. Combined, Drs. Sollenberger and Rouquette have 94 years of experience in grazing research.  This will certainly be a short course you won’t want to miss.  Register online at Eventbrite.

The event will be held in conjunction with the Annual UF Brahman Bull and Brahman Heifer Sale.
