UF Beef Cattle Short Course
The 75th University of Florida Beef Cattle Short Course will be held April 29 - April 30, 2026.
The 2026 Beef Cattle Short Course celebrates a milestone with its 75th birthday. The partnership that was formed 75 years ago is a great example of how extension continues to serve the beef cattle producers in Florida. We have a great line-up of nationally recognized speakers. Topics range from cow size to screwworm and from fat to feeding by products. Please note that this year we are trying a new approach with a two-day event. The condensed two-day program will allow you to be in Gainesville only one night. We look forward to seeing you at this year’s short course to help us celebrate our 75th year!
The event will be held in conjunction with the Annual UF Brahman Bull and Brahman Heifer Sale.
