These 94 Holstein cows are being offered for sale by the University of Florida, Department of Animal Sciences. The sale will be a ‘sealed bid’. The person with the winning bid may sort 10% of the cows.  For example, winning bid is $2,000.  Sort 10 cows.  Pay 84 x $2,000 = $168,000.

Please address your mail to the Animal Sciences Business Office.  You may mail or drop off bids in person at the University of Florida, Department of Animal Sciences. Bids will not be accepted via email.

All sealed bids must be received into the UF Animal Sciences Business Office by 4 PM, November 1.  All bidders are welcome to be present at bid opening, which will occur at 4:30 PM on November 1, 2023.  Bid opening will occur at UF IFAS Department of Animal Sciences, Bldg. 499, Suite 100. The winning bidder will be notified via email and telephone on November 1, 2023.  The winning bidder must pick up their cows on or before 4 PM on Monday, November 6.  Full payment will be expected prior to pick-up.  Per UF policy, bank cashier’s check, wire transfer or credit card (3% fee charged on credit card transactions) are acceptable forms of payment.
